I thought this would be an interesting question and would get many mixed results.
So what you have to do pick the series that your favourite doctor who episode belongs to above, then make a post saying what your favourite episode is and why.

Well, it's definitely in Series Two... but it's a toss up between School Reunion and the Impossible Planet... I really can't decide. I've got a big affection for IP because it was the first episode I ever watched. And then SR is just so so funny, and has amazing music.

Oh that's interesting, so you didn't start watching doctor who from the beginning from series one!
I voted series two aswell, my favourite episode would have to be the girl in the fireplace. I've always loved the episode and i think the one of the mains reasons i'm in love with the episode so much is because it's very historic and i have a big love for history.

well as much as i loved the 1st two series, series 3 didn't really do much for me seeing martha tring to get the doctor and failing miserably. I LOVED Series 4 Donna was just so darn funny and then there was the return of Rose as well.

No I didn't Charley - I'd never even heard of it! I saw the black hole at the start and I was interested in them so that drew me in. Quite quickly, too - I was so upset at Doomsday, even though I'd only been watching it for five weeks.

Ha!! can you imagine what we was all like if you was upset after watching it for five weeks! it was truly heart breaking. ha haa But just because you didn't watch doctor who from the very beginning doesn't me we don't class you as a fan! Don't worry we do!! And i agree with you too randomgal19, series three didn't do much for me infact i didn't really pay attention to it, if i missed an episode i wasn't too bothered. i think series three was doctor who's worst series yet.

Definitely about s3. I think it was partly because Martha wasn't funny, and there was no particular special bond between her and the Doctor like there has been for the rest of them so far.

yeah agreed. there was the bond between rose and doctor which doesn't need to be explained, bond between donna and the doctor, they had alot in common as they both had a good sense of humour and then there is a really lovely bond between amy and 11 which is like comical like donna and the doctor but also kind of adult like where amy has tried attempts of seducing the doctor! saucy!
